The dual-function Salem Sump Tube® is specially designed to prevent the buildup of stomach fluids and air, enabling gentle stomach decompression through continuous suction.
The unique double lumen construction includes air vents to break the vacuum when the stomach is emptied.
Made from safe, non-irritating PVC, the tube features ten side holes at the coned distal end, with markings at 45, 55, 65, and 75 cm for precise placement. The entire length is radiopaque for easy monitoring, and the proximal end includes a universal funnel connector for easy extension.
The secondary lumen features a universal connector for irrigation using a catheter-mount syringe. Each tube comes sterile and is packaged in a convenient peelable pack
